DESCRIPTION: Illinois Watch Co., Springfield, Illinois, "Burlington Watch Co.", 12 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted to positions and temperature, straight line damascened nickel bar movement, with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, double roller and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel, open face case with American eagle and shield engraved on back, with Montgomery Arabic numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #3975080, c1920
CONDITION: CASE: Minor dings and pin pricks; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on crystal. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, very light, 12:00, 6:00, 7:30; Small chip in enamel concealed by bezel, 7:30; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Winding wheels have specks of oxidation; Bright work has minor oxidation, regulator spring and regulator; Minor loss to blacking in engraving; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
